Savoury Fare Food Company comprises of daytime restaurants/cafes and off-site catering services serving Ireland's midlands area.
The Company was established in 1996 by current owners Des Hennelly and Rory Currid, both chefs, each with over 30 years industry experience.
The restaurants/cafes are located at Irishtown, Fernhill Garden Centre and Monksland, Athlone. Catering services are available at each of the locations with large events catered for from the Irishtown (Town Centre) premises.
The success of the Company to date has been built upon our passion for customer care and the provision of good quality, freshly prepared food.
Each of our restaurants shares a relaxed atmosphere and a warm welcome. Breakfast is served from 9am with a wide selection of produce, all cooked to order.
Hot meals and main dishes include a variety of traditional and international dishes which are available throughout the day from 12 noon. A variety of vegetarian and gluten/allergen free menu options are always available.
A wide variety of hot or cold sandwiches, wraps, paninis, bagels and breads are served all day and can be enjoyed with a wide range of traditional and herbal teas, fresh coffee or natural juices.
Scones, brown bread , tarts and cakes are baked on the premises daily and Savoury Fare's Raspberry Scone is now officially deemed one of the best scones in Ireland by Goodalls in their competition 'Ireland's Best Scone' in 2015.
