Savoury Fare were delighted to be part of “Pasture To Plate” initiative today (11th April) at Ballybay National School. It was great to see such genuine interest from the pupils who were keen to learn about the food we eat and where it comes from.

Farmer and County Chair Jim O’Connor of Irish Farmers' Association, Local butcher Joe Finneran and local veg grower Colm Lennon enjoyed sharing their knowledge with the 4th Class children.  

It was such an informative, fun and educational morning - Des tells us the “Rossies Lamb Ragu” went down a treat!
